A record of what you have told ACM you are interested in, and what you have given us permission to do — kept in one place you control.

Demonstration only. Everything shown here uses fictional sample data. No real health information is collected, stored, or sent, and nothing here establishes eligibility for a study.

What the Research Passport is not

  • It is not a medical record, and no clinic or hospital is required to accept it.
  • It is not informed consent and never replaces the consent conversation for a study.
  • It is not proof that you are eligible for any clinical trial, at ACM or anywhere else.
  • It does not travel to other research sites unless you separately authorize that.

A permission history shows both what you granted and what you took back, with dates, so nothing depends on memory.

Verified study participation

Only the research team can confirm participation, and only where you have authorized it to appear here. A participant cannot mark themselves as verified.

Duplicate enrollment checks

Being in more than one study at the same time can be unsafe. Some studies therefore use an authorized verification service to check for duplicate enrollment.

If ACM uses such a service, it would happen only with notice to you and a lawful basis such as your authorization, only for that purpose, and only through a contracted provider. ACM does not search other research databases or try to discover your enrollment elsewhere without authorization.

A verification flag would trigger review by a person on the research team — never an automatic rejection.
